Hi, I have a 03 meanie and put on dg side burner pipes and pc3 i did alot of reading and found the diff in cost and the power diff is not worth it i went with thunder tear drop also it is said that the hypercharger sticks out quite a bit where your leg sits the thunder is perfect sticks out just right to be able to see and not get in the way.

I put on a hypercharger on my meanstreak and there is a noticable improvement in the performance.

Dont do it!. I put the same setup on my 2002 mean streak and just traded it in because I hated the hypercharger. It sticks out way too far, even the non-pro model. I also heard the Thunder mfg air cleaners stick out too far. Im checking out the Forcewinder

The folks at Thunder told me that the Hyper charger doesn't flow as well as the oval or round open filters. I went with the Thunder round kit. I love it

Thunder told me that there is no difference in the performance of the Hypercharger compared to their air boxes. They have a lot of different designs of air boxes to choose from for about $30 to $40 less.

I have the PCIII, Hyperchager Pro and Cobra slash cuts. On the dyno it produced a max of 65HP and 95flb torque using 93 octane. I added 1/2" spacers to move the foot controls out. It looks cool but I the air has to make a sharp turn inside before reaching the throttle body. In the near future I am going to get the Thunder MFG big bore kit and replace the hypercharger with one of their air cleaner kits.
