| WHY is this not a city bike? I really want the blue and white one, but is the 1000DS a better all around Monster? What gives?

| | Not to good for city traffic because the clutch is quite heavy. I took the msf advanced course on mine last year and all the clutch action was more difficult than the excercises. The DS isnt necessarily a better bike, its just different. i.e. smoother throttle response more grunt off idle, simpler valve train and air cooled. That said, the s4r flat screams. It has a better suspension and handles like a dream. I love mine and will keep it till the wheels fall off, but its not my idea of the perfect all arounder. |
