| Horsepower rating on the drz400s?
Top speed?
DRZ versus the dr650 and klr650 as
far as power, speed, etc.? Thanks.

| | That's a fairly simple one, I think. If you are going to spend 80% of your time on trails, get the 400. If you are looking for something to blast around town in and run errands, with the occasional ride on a logging road or some powerlines, I would still get the 400. I have a KLX400R which is the same bike (exact) as the DRZ400. It is about as much weight as you will want to bring into the woods. It has amazing low-end power, more than enough and I weigh 220 pounds. I can't say I know what top speed is, but it is definately geared for low-end riding. If you are looking for a fair amount of highway riding and very little trail riding, get the KLR650. |
