| I am planning on getting a monster 620 for my first bike and I was wondering a few things, first: Does it have enough acceleration to drive pretty fast, and second, can I easily ride with another rider on it, I am about 6"2 190 pounds, will it be alright to ride with another person

| | The 620 isnt that fast, if you want to ride 2 up I would go with the 1000, definitly has alot more pep, I have the 1000 myself and have rode the 620, go for the 1000 you wont be dissappointed.. |

| | If this is going to be your first bike then don't get the 1000. You would be crazy and probably crash a $10,000 bike within the first few months. Crashing a naked bike that you paid around $6500 for is a lot less painful. The last thing you want is to hurt another person with a 110+ horsepower bike. Get the 620 and learn to ride it well. Take the advanced MSF course. Wait a couple years and then decide if more bike is for you. Above all be careful and read up on two up riding, the passenger plays as important a roll as you do. |

| | I am 6'2" and 200lbs. Ducs move out like a rocket. STick to the road like glue. Can be expensive to maintain and repair....so be careful. But, you will never regret riding a duc. |
