| I'm curious about the maintainence issues that come with an import. Anyone have any extensive experience with Italian bikes?, most notably Ducati?

| | the desmodronic valve system used cams that are intergal to the rocker arms to open and close the valves. the wear componet between the valve stem and rocker face are shims. this is a very challenging system for even the experienced wrench and way over the head of a novice and with adjustments recommended at every 4k miles you'll be spending time at the local service department or in your garage learning how to do this yourself. `````````````````````` |
