WHAT IS THE LOWEST SEATHEIGHT FOR THE GS WITH THE LOW SEAT OPTION? I have read everything from 31.8 to 32.3? At 5'6", 32.3 is my limit depending on seat width.

Hi
It is 32,3 with the oem low seat.
There is a german firm wunderlich who sell a seat that will take it down to 31,5. Both seat are quite narrow so I think you will do fine with the oem one. I normaly have 32 inseam on my jeans and have no problem at all.

I am just over 5'5. I had a little foam taken out of the seat. A local car apholstery place did it and it made a big difference. The seat still has plenty of padding left for a comfy ride.

I have a 12GS and the low seat option
I where levis with 32" inseam and heavy boots. I find the bike fine but I would not dare to buy a bike higher then the GS with low seat option. I tested with the standard sadle but that was a bit high for my taste.
