| I've got a 1998 V-Star 650, and I've experienced the same problem. I've also found that my tire pressure can be a problem - a pound or two up or down vibrates a lot - get the pressure near perfect, and it smooths out considerably. It's not a fix all, but it could help a bit. Best of luck.

| | i have a 2001 v star classic. I had three snapped spokes. Changed all the spokes out my self and rides pretty damn smooth now. |
