| What other bikes did you look at? How tall are you, what weight?
Could a newbie handle this bike?

| Looked at BMW, Honda, Yamaha, and (half assed) Moto Guzzi. 6'-4" 230#. I'm a motorcycle newbie (always done dirt bikes, though), so it depends. I think the dirt bike experience has helped a lot. Otherwise, perhaps it could be a lot of bike. It's the only one that reall fit me, though. Well, I fit on a few Jap bikes, but no interest. This Ducati is unique. The only bikes I really liked that I fit on were a BMW F650 GSDA, a 999, and the Multistrada. This one fit me the best all around.

| If you mean newbie to motorcycles; I wouldn't recommend this bike. Start out on
a dual sport, something on the dirt. Parts on these bikes are expensive ! Good luck!
