| | I think if u can fit on the 250f you will find it smaller as it is smaller than most 125 seat heights even though it doesnt say it on the website or specs. I would do a season on an 85cc Big Wheel before you step up this will give you more experience riding a bigger bike then the next season try putting this experience into a bigger bike. |

| i am 15 and just moved from and just moved up from a kx 85 to a kxf 250 and it is still alot of power so i sugest you go to a 85 or 100 first so you can get some experience on a faster bike in.

| | Naw dont listen to the other guys...id definately get this bike...if you were looking at 2 strokes then you might need some time on an 85 or 100 2 stroke. But this is a powerful four stroke so id just get used to the power and not go right out and pinn it...its got lots of low end so it will want to wheelie right off the throttle if you dont be careful...but yeah id just take it slow and progress from there |

| you should go for a 125 but in 2006 honda is coming out with a crf125 for the 85 class motocross so if you want to wait you should go with that

| Hey i've had been where you are man. I wanted a 250F last year and ended up getting the KX100 im 15 now and i just got the 250F last week. Get the 250F because tracks WONT let you run a KX100 in the 85 class. I had to run mine with 125's (a big disadvantage) you are much better off to go with the 250F and do what you are comfortable doing than get the 100 and have to be a maniac just to have a shot with the big bikes.

| I really don't think you could handle a 250F. But you might get bored of the kx85 fast. Some tracks have a 100-2-stroke class. (Are you gonna race?) Another few bikes to look at for trail riding, not racing are KLX300 TT-R250 (WR250 MAYBE)
The KX100 has a lot more low-mid power and the KX85 has a lot more high power. The KX100 does not have that big of a advantage to the kx85. Also my friends modded kx85 can beat my other friend stock kx125!! Crazy huh.
