I have a 82 Skidoo citation ss that has no spark. I checked all the easy things like switches and conections. It has to be one of three things, the coil, cdi box or internal coil. Any ideas how to determine which one is faulity??

You should test your coils with a multitester/ volt-ohm reader, and see if the coils are ok, unfortunately I don't think there is a way to check the cdi.

cdi box may be the answer to yuor promblems take it apart to see if there is any connections broken off if so soder tem back on and it should run fine and if you really have a problem maybe you want to chage the head gasket i had the same exact problem with my 1982 ski doo

First things first, Their are no points and condensers if your sled has a CDI unit. jeremy is correct, test your firing coil and exciter coil on your stator with a multi meter. check with your local shop for the correct resistance to your coils and compare them with the MM readings of your coils. If your specks are good, your CDI is hooped.
