| hey fellow motocrossers...im 14 nearing 15...i'm 5'6" around 150 pounds...i love riden dirtbikes...i don't have one...but i would like to purches one...i ride my friends 04 kx125..it is to big for me...and way fast...i like the ktm alot... and all the 85cc bikes out there... but they are too small...what do i do?!? should i go for the ktm...or is it a bad choice?!?

| | the 85`s are too small for you no doubt - the ktm 105 or a rm100 or kx100 would be good for you. I used to own a rm 125 and sold it to later on buy a kx100 when I had time to ride again. I find the height better for me on the kx 100 and I am 5`7 and also I find the power very similar to the 125 - less engine but a lot less weight too - so it balances out. So, either one of those 100 cc bikes or the sx 105 would be good for you I think. My understanding however is that the KTM is more expensive to buy and to maintain - you may want to think about that too - the KX 100 so far has seemed extremely reliable compared with my previous RM which was easy to foul and hell to start up cold - I hope this helps!! |

| | Try a 250f, the powerband isn't as snappy as a 125 two stroke and you will get used to it faster. Also you can lower it about an inch. |

| | get a honda 85 expert they have a good top and a good bottom end that was my first 2-stroke |
