| I was woundering how the rune rides? hard soft in the middle.... i have heard that it is a 50/50 bike 50 miles at 50 mph is about all a person can take. meaning that it rides hard (hardtail) I am a big guy 6'2 270 . i was also woundering if it mite be to small for my legs? looks to be not a lot of leg room. also woundering if i would cramp up on long trips???

| I rode my 520 miles from the dealer in Ohio back to NJ on one day. Mostly fun too, so I would definitely not agree on the 50/50 sentiment.
Leg room wise though, I got a little sick of the knee bend position and I am 5' 8", so I would not recommend for a guy 6' 2".
My 2c.

| Funny you mention that.. I find that 50 mph is a good cruising speed. Believe me when I tell you that it has plenty of pep and you can quickly get her to cruise at 80 mph up any hill. I wouldn't recommend it without a fairing or wind management device. If you like touring, I suggest you get a Gold Wing. The Rune is definetly a cruiser.. More for looking cool. It turns lots of heads.
