I just purchased a 2004 Dyna Low Rider and am experiencing an increadible amount of vibration while riding. I cannot clearly see out of either of my mirrors. When riding for more than an hour I become so numb in my legs it is difficult to operate the back brake. Is anyone else having this type of problem?

Dorlene,

I would suggest taking your bike back to the dealership. It sounds to me like something is wrong. I have a 2003 Dyna Low Rider, and I have not had any problems with vibrations. My mirrors are very stable, and I've never had a problem with getting numb legs that affect my ability to brake. It sounds to me like something is seriously out of balance in your engine, or that something may be wrong with the rubber engine mounts.

Have it taken care of now while the warranty is still valid.

Good Luck!!

I have a 2004 FXDL and experiance bad vibration it is rev related and mostley between 2k and 3k these symtoms also happen if stacic so I think it must be just down to the engine not transmission train.
I have had the rubber mounts changed but this made no differance at all
Harley say they reconise there is a problem and it is now in the hand of the chief uk tech man . I wrote to the same about a month ago did not even get a acknowledgement .
I think harley no there is a problem
maybe they do or do not know what it is but they are making no efforts to cure it

I ALSO HAD MIRROR VIBRATION PROBLEMS. I BOUGHT A SET OF NICER MIRRORS FROM THE HD CATALOG AND THEY DO NOT SHAKE AT ALL. I DON'T REALLY FIND THE VIBRATIONS IN GENERAL ANNOYING.

I have a 2003 lowrider. Had major annoyance with vibration. Took back to dealer. Harley advised them to balance the motor mount. This helped some. But- I finally changed out stock pipes to Vance & Hines Longshots....Just got back from round trip ride to Daytona of 1200 miles...NO VIBRATION could have kept traveling! I was amazed at how a pipe change made this bike run so smooth. I now love the dyna low rider. Hope this helps you.

I ride a Dyna and my mirrors are CLEAR at all highway speeds. My handlebars don't vibrate at any speed above idle, either. You have a legit problem. If HD won't help you need to find a good independent mechanic right away. This is also shaking everything on your bike to hell.
