| I just bought an '04 XL1200C and since there aren't any pipes out to fit them yet I have to settle for slip ons. can anyone tell me which ones give you that deep harley rumble and performance the best 1) SCREAMIN EAGLE 2) CYCLE SHACK there are a couple of design choices in the CS but I am looking for that great sound without loosing that 70+ stock HP. ???

| | I'll let you know after Friday, July 23. I'm putting on the Screamin Eagle Slip Ons. My dealership ordered me a set of 1 3/4" tappered Cycle Shack's to keep the factory look, but the distributor sent them to another dealership. So, now, the CS's are on back order until Sept. I checked the V&H pipes online which are also on back order. Hopefully, the sound will improve with the SE's since there's really no price difference between the CS and SE pipes. The V&H price is double. |

| | I have the same bike and had my local dealer put on the Screamin Eagle 2 slip ons. They also re-jetted my carb. and dyno tuned it for the best results. I would recomend to you that you stay Harley, better resale value. |

| | I have an 06 and I installed the V&H slip ons and rejetted and they were too loud. 98db, I then add the quiet muffler inserts and the db is about 92 and has better torque and deeper sound. |
