Last night did 130mph with 2 people on and a windshield. I believe (but have not been there) that it would do 140 on a good day. Regardless, I would have this bike if it only did 100...gets looks like no other bike does.

don't care what others say. My v rod hit 125 with plenty left over. Maybe the broke boy should buy him a bike for 8000.

I have been on bikes for almost 30 years and owned a dozen bikes. 5 were harleys. I am as honest as they come. I bought a stock night rod and added the mid sport windshield in april of 2006. after the thousand mile break in I went out onto route 80 and did 130 mph. at that time the rpm guage was at the point that the computer kicked it out of gear. it pops back in and out at 130 mph but I sat at that speed for a good 15 minutes and thats all it has. now I could have done that all day since the bike didnt seem to mind but im just saying that on my 2006 night rod totally stock no one is doing 140. sorry to everyone who says they can and im not here to down anyone I mean for all I know you had that rpm deal changed or whatever but I will say this. my night rod makes 120 horses stock which is 5 horses more than the vrod and my bike is even a few pounds lighter. I am 180 pounds myself.
