| Scott, I'm 5'8" and 245 pounds and it's no problem with me on it. Very comfortable and performs like a champ in the woods here in southern NJ.
When I use it on the street, I don't go much over 50mph ever. Never on a highway, just secondary streets through the NJ pine barrens.

| I have a 2007 DR200SE and a 2003 Yamaha XT225. I ride the Suzuki and my son (17) rides the XT225.
The XT225 is a far better bike than the DR200SE. Right off the bat you get a 6 speed transmission that comes in handy on the road. Much bigger bike feel than the DR200SE. All around and everything compared, the XT225 would come out on top. You wouldn't think that the extra 25cc would make a difference, but it does.
Sit on both of them someday and take them for a test drive. I love my Suzuki, don't get me wrong, but after buying the Yam as my 2nd bike in the inventory, I prefer it more.
You'll find arguments comparing both bikes, but only take advise from those who really OWN both of them. |
