| | Thinking about buying a Two Brothers Racing exhaust for my 2002 vfr800. What do you folks think? Good idea or not? They sound real good. Bike too quiet with stock system. |

| I would not go w/ the TBR system. It eliminates one of the coolest featurs of the '02 VFR: twin under seat exhausts. It maintains "the look" but changes the bike from a four-into-two to a four-into-one; the left-hand exhaust becoming a storage compartment: cool if you're into tranporting narcotics, but not so cool if you like the sound of a twin exhaust. I've been researching aftermarket pipes myself. Here's a list of other manufacturers I've found that make systems for the '02 VFR: Arrow, Devil, Erion, Leo Vince, Micron, Staintune and Wolf. Check out their systems before making a decision then let me know what you decide.
Happy shopping.

| | Another great exhaust system is Staintune from Australia, they're expensive but look awesome. Plus it ditches all that extra emissions stuff |

| | I've heard all of the exhaust systems mentioned in the other answers to this question and all things being equal, they all sound very similar. The stand out feature of the Two Bros. exhaust system is the 10lb. weight savings. The Two Bros. weighs in at roughly half of the stock and other after-market systems. That's kind of like getting 3-5 HP just by loosing the 10lbs. |
