The Buell Firebolts and Thunderbolts have gas in the frame, and oil in the swingarm.

The 1984 – 1986 Honda Nighthawk S (700 cc) was designed this way (I own an ’84 model). It has an oil cooler plumbed directly to the frame. The two front downtubes of the frame are used to flow oil between the oil cooler and engine.
