Hi guys. I just got a 1993 250cc 2 stroke? from a friend. It ran good in the summer and I went to take her out today and I cant get her to start. I am new to riding a bike so could you guys be kind enough to give me a few tips....1) what spark plug should I use? 2) before I gas her up for the first time....do I mix oil into the gas and if I do how much? 3) whats the proper starting procedure? Sorry for all the questions but I really wanna learn to ride PROPERLY!! Thanks a ton.

NEVER MORE THAN 2% OF OIL BETTER IF CASTROL and better if 1.5% they should sell the kit to do it.
you can get a little cup or something and put 1.5-2% of a gallon of oil in it and then in your tank then @ the gas station put 1 gfallon of gas, easy!!!
ok now, excuse my broken english but i am italian and i drove dirt bikes 2 strokes my all life.
Here's how you turn it on in the morning: turn right hand on gas very slowly until you rich maximum then release(remember only one time), nox on neutral pull the clutch and go up and down on the lever to turn it on very slowly like 4-5 times, then turn gas a quater of one inch and down with all the power you can. if it goes on good otherwise try again and do not touch the gas too much. Takes sometime than you'll find the right way to turn it on. Every bike gets the owner hand and you'll see, one day you 'll be the only one able to start it. Have fun!!!
