| My ? is Bandit 600s or 1200s. I have around 100hrs on a WR250 dirt bike, 6'01" 185lbs, not a speed freek and know how to ride within my limits. ? is, for my first street bike would you guys recomend 600s or 1200s. Will be using bike for daily commuting, 2-3 day trips with the occasional state to state week+ rides. Also are there any bandit forums out there. Thanks for your imput.

| I have never ridden the 600, but I would absolutely recommend the 1200. If you stay in your limits, you won't have a problem and you will not outgrow the bike - it is aweseome! I ride mine daily (weather permitting) and tour +400 miles several times a year. You can find a lot of Bandit forums and Bandit freaks in cyberspace; try "bandit.werner.med" to start...

| go for the 1200...its a bigger and more comfortable bike...and you are getting twice the motor for not much more money...just look out fo rinsuran ce

| I'd go with the 1200, it is nice to have the when you need, even if you don't use it that much. Also if you got a 600 chances are after a month or two you are going to wish you had more get up and go. Don't get me wrong, the 1200 is not a meek bike, Ive had the wheel up a few times so give some respect, you know how to ride in your limits though and the bandit is easy to predict, it won't get away on you. Enjoy.
