| I am considering the purchase of a Victory Kingpin. I do not know a lot about this bike and the only info. I can get is from the dealer. Can anyone that owns one comment on this bike, and maybe give some advice? I thank you in advance for your comments. LB

| I do not own a KP, but I do have a 2003 Vegas, on which the KP is heavily based, and I have taked to a few owners of the KP. In general it seems to ride better than the Vegas, and the VEgas is a great bike. Tons of power and acceleration, great styling, and good gas mileage. It'll pull away fromany HD except the V-ROD. The EFI makes it stable in awide range of altitudes and temps. THe engine noise has a high pitch to it, which can be a little disconceting at first, but that's just the sound of the bike. No complaints on the engine or transmission. The best advice I can give you is to take advantage of the test ride program. It might still be a little early to test drive a KP, but a vegas will be similar. The KP has a fatter front tire, so it will be a little more stable. Good luck!

| I bought the Vegas, 04' drove it 100 miles and returned it, with cash penalty, for the Kingpin. The Kingpin is a much nicer ride, the Vegas will destroy your butt and back. The Kingpin is more comfortable, more stable, and seems to be more attached/safer on the road. Get the stage 1 kit on either, it is more than worth the money. The Kingpin is a wonderful machine.

| | I love this bike. I bought mine about 4 months ago. Only ONE drawback - there are virtually no aftermarket parts available for this bike - yet. My "Harley buddies" that have riden the bike love it too! |

| nice bike really a looker, have had mine about 2000 miles now. Have 2 tome with billit wheels and chrome pkg, touring pkg. Have installed stage one kit and bike is loud but fast. The biggest problem for owners will be resale as most dealers are sitting on inventory. The factory has been really poor on the advertising of the product, My dealer will not take one in trade. I didn't know this until after I bought. Hope this helps..

| OK here's the deal. I bought a 04 KP for less than $17,000 out the door. Now, this bike retailed for more that $19,000. I recieved the stage one kit, Victory windshield, sissy bar, Arlene Ness billet wheels, chrome full passenger floorboards, Kuryakyn grips, Tach, two victory helmets, one free oil change, jackets and hats. I like how the bike handles and the power but if you looking to buy pay attention to this list before you purchase. The cables for the forward controls, the head light wiring and the engine/transmission noise. The cables look like a jap bike, very unfinished looking. As for the engine and transmission there is a load whinning noise. I might not have bought the bike given the chance to ride it for awhile. On the other hand, the bike handles great, has outstanding power (with stage one kit), and is well balanced. I have been riding for a long time and the appeal of another american made bike was to much to ignore. If Victory fixes some of their small problems and cleans the bike up a little they will have a real winner. By the way this is one nice looking bike (other than the forward controls).

| I just bought one after riding a 1100 VStar Classic, 2003 Harley Davidson nighttrain, and a V Rod. I went with the kingpin for seat height and the responsive riding style that I didn't get with the bagger bikes. The V Rod was nice but it didn't have the stretched look I wanted the nighttrain was rather unstable for me at slow speeds, probably the drag bars but I didn't like it. I know everyone talks about resale so I will wait and see what happens if or when I sell it. Right now it was worth the $ for the smiles!

| I have owned five previous motorcycles (Honda Ace, Sabre, Standard Valkarie, 750 Magna) the only one that holds a candle to it was the Valkarie. After 12,000 miles my 2004 Victory Kingpin looks and feels better than when it left the showroom floor
