I bought my Stratoliner back in December, and have had nothing but great things to say about it. As I was approaching my 4k mile service I noticed the engine picking up a tapping noise over 2000 rpm. The noise continued to get louder over the weekend until I took it in to be serviced on Monday, I mentioned it to the dealer where I took it for its 4000 mile service (4032) on odometer. When I was called to pick up the bike the service manager informed me that the noise is from the valves and that they are out of adjustment and will bring it back in to be repaired / adjusted. At additional cost of course, as its not a "warranty" issue.

I have to say I'm a bit miffed at the fact that my brand spanking new bike has developed valve issues at only 4k miles. The owners manual dosen't have the valves even being checked until 16k.

Anyone else have similar issues?

thanks
