| Hey Guys,
I was looking for some advice, and I am torn between an 883HD, 1200HD, a Yamaha 650 or an 1100 cruiser. I am a avid desert rat and actually raced district 37 out of california for a time. I would like some advice on what type of bike to go with. I do know how to ride, but the riding style I am used to would not fly with most if not all types of law enforcement patrolling the streets,LOL !. What are the main differences from desert to street, I think that I will have the reaction times to respond to possible troubled situations that may arise although the street bike will not act like a dirt bike, that I understand. My experience racing I think would lend a hand to adapt to street quicker than the average joe who is just starting, but I am torn between what type of bike to purchase. I want to ride both around town and maybe take a getaway for a day or two and really put some miles on the bike. To make a long story short, what do you reccomend that I should take a closer look at as far as the bike is concerned and what should I be aware of as far as transitioning to street from dirt. I want to do it right, so I will be taking a MSC soon, but I love to ride and being a dirt junkie at heart just does not provide the amount of riding I would like to do.
