| | My 2005 Suzuki Ozark 250 will not start. Bike is getting spark and plug is brand new. I drained the stabilized fuel that was in the tank and put in fresh super unleaded. I followed the test in the owners manual to make sure it is getting fuel and it is. I tried carb cleaner, thru the air filter entrance to the carb. Bike will start using starting fluid thru the same air filter entrance to the carb but only momentarily with some backfiring. It appears total access to the carb to check the float can only be achieved by removing the gas tank, far beyond my mechanical ability. Bike was purchased brand new in June of 06 and has less than 30 hours on it. Bike is only used October thru December and sits the rest of the time. I have always started it once a month or so but can not ride it where I live. Also bike is always hooked up to a batter trickle charger when not in use. So it is trying to start but will not turn over. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
