I turned north on Hwy 139

I found the road leading to the Lave beds, but it was in poor condition! I found out later this was the back way into the park.

Lave Beds is known for its cave exploration

The Lava Beds National Monument Visitor Center. This is where you pick up helmets, maps, and flashlights to go visit the caves.

I didn’t see a Welcome to Oregon sign so I did the next best thing, I turned around and took a picture of the California Sign.
