It all depends on what kind of riding you do. Polaris revamped the Sportsman in '05 so you might look at the new features but other than that it all depends.

I have owned many different four wheelers if you want one to work on buy a polaris. I have found the Brute force to be the best in my opinion. I have a polaris now all I have done is work on it ,it only has 600 miles on it but there are noises coming from the motor. When you go to the dealer to ask what it could be they have no clue. i find it hard to get any repair information on polaris. Good Luck.
