Has anyone had a problem with the battery failing to charge? Mine has less than 15 hours on it, but I don't ride it much. I almost always have to pull the recoil rope to start it. It starts right up with the rope, but just clicks with the battery. How can I check the output of the alternator to see if it putting anything out? Are the OEM batteries weak?

I was just checking the same thing. I have the 700 diesel it a 07 just got it in August. Iam having the same problem on cold starts and now on warm days too had to boost the battery

First check the volts..

start her up then check the volts again it should read higher..

Put the battery on tricel charge 2 or 1.5 amp charge for atleast 24 hours.

if still dont preform take the battery in for a load test at your dealer.
