| I live on the 55th parallel in British Columbia. My 2004 Shadow Aero and I have travelled from the Pacific coast to Saskatchewan, from Whitehorse in the Yukon, to Victoria on Vancouver Island. and there is 37000 km (23,000 miles) on the odometer. Clearly, this is a wonderful, reliable cruiser. However, cruising at normal highway speeds, I have to switch on the reserve tank at 175 km!!! With the reserve, as the odometer turns 212 km, I spot a filling station over there on the horizon. Phew! In the universal scheme of things, it ain't bad, but I would dearly want a bigger gas tank because, I reason, surely this would be end up much cheaper than buying another motorcycle with a larger fuel tank, eh. Has anyone a suggestion?
Today, Oct 10, we had our fist snow! Wet, sticky, but still snow.
Thank you all,
Nick |
