| If I am 6'4 215, will I fit on a Honda Nighthawk 250 comfortably? I'm looking to buy a bike and this looks like a good beginner bike. Will it be okay for my size?

| try sitting on one, or better yet, test riding one to see how it feels. offhand, it seems like it might be too small for your height, but try one out if you can.

| | What other bikes would you recommend besides this one to a first time rider? I've driven a 150cc moped (no shifting) for a day or two and it was easy, and that is the extend of my riding knowledge. |

| basically you want something you can easily handle the weight and power of. this can become a little troublesome, as sportbikes will all be light enough for a new rider, but very many will be too powerful. mast cruisers will have low enough power but many will be too heavy to comfortably handle, especially at low speeds. standard style bikes will offer a good compromise usually, but they may become less fun as you progress if the become just too standard to really stand out.
some actual models that are generally considered good for new riders, and may suit your height better are (these are more toward the sport side, but still not too agressively powered, for cruisers, you'll have to hope someone else weighs in with info about them):
Kawasaki: ninja 500, versys (supposedly great all around bike), and ninja 650 (about as aggressive as a new rider should try)
Suzuki: GS500, Katana 600/750 (used), GSX650F, SV650/S (again, about as aggressive as is safe)
Yamaha: YZF-R600 (used) (not to be mistaken with YZF-R6/S)
other bikes in the 500-750cc range, none of the supersport type bikes though, as even the 600's are wat to aggressive for a new rider. again, at your size, I think you would be OK starting out with something bigger than a 250.
