| | This is probably a no brainer kind of question but I'm going to ask it none the less. I plan to buy a new bike sometime in the near future but its been several years since I have ridden (used to have an 87 yamaha dirtbike). I figure I will first purchase an old beater bike for something like $1,000 or so to get comfortable on again then save up for the big new expensive bike I want to get. The problem is I live in a smaller town and there are not usually many used bikes for sale and the ones that are, usually are Harley's for $8,000 or more. Can anyone offer me any advice for purchasing a used cheap bike on Ebay taking into consideration that I probably won't be able to check out the bike in person so I have to take the seller's word and hope they are being honest. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
