Hello,

Please offer advice if possible.

I have a 2000 GP1200R waverunner that has been giving me trouble for the last 2 years which 4 people have tried and not fixed yet. I am at my wits end.
This last repair was a complete overhaul of the engine. Pistons replaced, cylinders redone, carbs redone, fuel lines flushed out cause of gel buildup, new gas filter. It seems to idol fine until its put in the water under a load. it starts to go then bogs down and stalls repeateatly. The only way to keep running is to Keep reving the engine and keep the choke open half to 3/4 of the way.
If there is anyone out there who could possibly give me some advice and direction to go, I would be most grateful. I have already dumped over $1500 into this thing. I know they cost to upkeep, but would
like to aleast have abit more fun with it.
Cat converter was replaced also with plate and it ran fine after that.

Thanks Mike

One possible solution. Buy the new 1300gpR. if you like the 2 strokers so much.
