| Anyone know the true MPG for this bike? I seen to get about 40MPG and Im 5'11" and 185 lbs and I dont ride it too hard.  I see people claiming they get 55 and 60 and even up to 75 MPG but maybe they are making alterations? |

| people aren't getting 75 mpg on a Kat 600 unless they are putting in a different motor. The rpm at highway speed gets too high even in 6th to be getting real high mileage like that.
I tended to get about 40 on my 95 kat 600 with some mildly agressive riding. to be honest I never checked that closely, but the times I did, I was always in the 40 mpg ballpark.
