| | I would like to know why whoever is running this site is editing and deleting my reviews. The following review was heavily edited. I wrote a review of the 2007 American Lifan LF200GY-5, titled "You just can't beat these bikes", where I compared it to the SUZUKI DR200SE, and noted that the SUZUKI was priced almost 4 times as much "OTD", which in this case meant that the "OTD" price of the SUZUKI included a substantial "additional dealer markup" above MSRP, in the form of bogus freight, prep, and doc fees, which raised it's final price to almost $5300, $1300 more than it's MSRP, as stated on SUZUK'S website. I paid $1375 to have my American Lifan LF200GY-5 delivered to my door in a crate. This included everything, including shipping. I absolutely love my Lifan, and no way is the SUZUKI, or any other Japanese bike, worth 4 times as much. Japanese "powersports" dealers are the most dishonest and corrupt business on earth, way worse than any car dealer or insurance company I've ever dealt with, or heard of. They are even worse than most HD dealers. BTW, I'm 49 years old, have been riding for more than 32 years, have a masters degree, and make plenty of money to have bought the SUZUKI, I just have a problem with throwing my money away.
