Has anyone had a problem with their eiger 400 auto overheating when doing pulling or work? I have used mine for discing and the fan comes on, and I was just concerned that I didn't want to get it to hot. Have you been able to do alot of work with no problems?

i have a 2005 ieger and my fan stopped working one day....i think it's a thermoste problem....it actually came on for the first time a few weeks back....but when it don't .man it gets hot and i'll stop a let it rest before the temp light comes on......i know the fan works because in another forum someone said to apply 12 volts 2 the fan the make sure the fan works.i did and it came on....it's either the thermostat or a relay somewhere that i don't know about.........where and how do you get to the thermostat???

Our problem is not over heating, but the fan seems to run an excessive amount. Have you had similar problems, as in fan operation quite a bit?

Thanks
Dennis
