I HAVE 2004 FXDI THE STOCK PIPES DON'T DO IT FOR ME. WHAT SHOULD I LIKE AT TO GET THE LOUDER SOUND? AND WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT HURTING THE EFI IF IT HURTS ANYTHING AT ALL

I would talk to the dealer first. Don't do anything that will void your warranty. I'm sticking with my stock FXD at least until my warranty runs out.

Bub, samson or bassani. You'll have to remap the module. Thats why I haven't changed my pipes yet.

you can put on the screamin eagle mufflers which will give you a louder sound or if you want it louder go with the vance and hines big shots or long shots. In any case you will need an ECM download fron the Harley dealer. this will re-program the EFI. They want to do the download with the harley SE high flow air kit along with the changed exhaust. The standard download works best when the pipes are done with the filter kit. the download will cost you approx. $200. parts and labor. the mufflers are about $230. and the vance and hines system about $575. not including installation. If you have harley do the download you will not void your warranty.

you change anything on the intake or exaust and the engine will run lean,burn piston's-valve's,you need to have the computer remaped

Yes, your dealer needs to adjust your bike to match the exhaust. There is no way out of it and it's not cheap. That's why us old farts like carbs.
