I'm new here so hello to all. Last summer I had run into a buddy of mine on the lake (literally). The guilt is killing me since I did hurt him. He has since healed but I'm in the process of repairing his jetski which is a 04 XLT 800. I t-boned him and the jetski flipped upside down. It bent the handlebar and broke the throttle control off, exterior damage only ( I HOPE). When we tried to start it , it would only idle. Even though the throttle clamp was broken it was still functionable. No matter how much you'd pull the throttle it would not rev up and starts to die. At the time the oil light did NOT come on! but yesterday when I started it the oil light was blinking and still would not rev up. Would low oil levels keep this from reving up or is something else going on? I haven't added oil yet to check it but I will today. I'd appreciate any help...thanks....Tim
