| Thoughts on the Ulysses as a first bike, I am 6'6' 260 and have been looking at the V-strom and the Ulysses. Prefer a US bike, lots of friends on HD's. Have one camp telling me that the Ulysses is too powerful for a first bike. For reference I plan on taking this slow and plan on getting a feel for the bike in tame situations first.

| | If your 6 foot + then the Ulysses will be a great bike... I am 5'8" and I needed the lower seat (2006 model), however in the 2007 and up models they fixed the seat height issued. Actually 2007 and up they fixed everything people didn't like. This bike will fit you very well, with not being scrunched up. |
