| | I RECENTLY PUCHASED A 07 STEET BOB WITH ONLY 900 MI ON IT. TOOK IT HOME CLEANED THE WHEELS AND FOUND QUIET A BIT OF PITTING AND RUST FOR ONLY HAVING 900MI. IS THERE ANY BODY ELSE WITH A SIMMILAR PROBLEM? |

| | if its still in warranty take it back to the dealer - I have an 06 Bob and had exactly the same problem with slight pitting on the chrome of both wheels - I took it back within the 2 year warranty period (actually 23 months into the warranty period) and they agreed to change both wheels - according to the HD guy HD had problems with the chrome when they changed the wheel supplier (don't know how true this is) so they were aware of it - just take it back and get a couple of new wheels (there is a 3 month wait according to my dealer in the UK) |
