My bike makes a ticking sound between 5000 and 6000 RPMs. It started before the bike was even a year old. I took it to the dealer. They thought it could be the valve and opened it up and said it wasn't and they didn't know what it was. They called the Kawasaki techs and they said they didn't know anything and to call back if it still did it at the 7500 mile maintenance check. The sound went away for about 1000 miles then returned. My bike has about 6100 miles on it now, but the sound is really noticeable and seems to be getting worse. Anyone had this problem or any advise? I've changed my oil every 1000 miles and oil filter every 2000 miles and broke it in according to the manual.
