| | I have a vtx1300s , and just recently (november) had a small accident, went down on the bike, as a result of loose gravel mixed in with cement powder, (it was like hitting a sheet of ice), fortunately , i was only going about 10-15 miles per hour, going into a turn. Bike went down on my right ankle, breaking the tibia bone. Its been two months now, and i am almost completely healed, but if i had highway bars, this would not have happened(the broken ankle that is), the bars would have prevented the bike from falling completely down and ultimately on my ankle. I will be very soon buying highway bars, a broken ankle was horrible!! |
