| We are considering a purchase in the 400-450cc range for utility applications like hauling a lot of wood or rock in a trailer, up fairly steep hills. Plowing will also be an expected task (generally <10") . Not looking for speed, just durability and adequate power to do lots of work.
Do you recommend the 400 vs the 450, or should we look elsewhere? Not opposed to a used machine - suggested years to purchase, or models to avoid?
Suggestions and comments will be greatly appreciated!

| | I have the Suzuki EIGER over the summer I loaded up a trailer with sand. I basically moved 3 yards of sand in like 4-5 trips. The quad moved it with ease. I pulled a few slight wheelie's but I had to go up a steep drive way and the lawn. As fas as Hunting I would put 300-350lbs of corn on the bike and It climbed and went every where. I used the hell out of the bike and it just does everything I am still shocked. My buddy has a Brute force and another with the Grizzly they have never done anything the EIGER couldn't do. |
