I am looking for any thoughts on what seat is the best buy for ride and looks Mustang , Corbin or Ultimate I am a Big man 300 plus lbs and the stock seat is just not comfortable on long rides I like the looks of the Corbin but the Ultimate seams to be a very good seat
Thanks Randy

Hi Randy.

You need to go to: http://forums.delphiforums.com/starroadliner/messages

There, you'll find more than 85,000 "threads" on your bike, including lots of info pertaining to this topic. It's a great site.

I've personally been involved in lots of conversations about which of these seats is best...Corbin, Mustang or Ultimate. It's almost like having conversations about which is better...Chevy, Ford or MOPAR. Each of these seat brands place you in slightly different positions. The Corbin seat is harder and sits you lower, Mustang sits you forward and Ultimate places you almost in the same position as does the stock seat. The Ultimate is one of the Liner groups' favorite, but you'll find a mixture of these 3 amongst them all. I currently ride a V Star 1300T and one of my best friends, who is also our local Yammy dealer, has an 07 Liner...with a Corbin. I'm switching to the Ultimate once it's introduced for my bike in about 3 months. All 3 brands are mighty nice!

Once at delphi forums, click on ADVANCED SEARCH at the upper right corner of the page, then look for all comments for ULTIMATE SEATS, going back 3 months, and you'll get a ton of info.

Good luck, and Happy 2008.

Hey Randy,

It's been some time since you posted the seat question. If you haven't made a decision, I would definitely go with Ultimate seat. I purchase both rider and passenger. My woman loves me!!!
