| Hi everyone - I am new to this forum, so please excuse the immediate questions. I located a FSBO polaris sportsman 400 ( 2005) with less than 20 hrs. Barly driven, asking 4500. My main question is the Mkt value for this assuming its in v good condition as described. I am thinking of offering 4K for it.
i have read that the 2004 model had issues on steep hills, was this corrected on this model
All i need it for is to carry me, hunting, doing some snow work etc - nothing fancy. will this model suffice. I am a big guy - 6-2, 260Ibs.
are there any known issues with this model?
thanks a million folks

| Update - I went to see this and its an original - brand new pretty much only 2 years old. All scheduled maintenance carried out. 11 hours, 75 miles on it.
Would love to hear your opinions
thanks |

| | 4500 is too much. I got mine NEW of the floor for 5200. It will have no problem carring you hunting, fishing, etc. I am 210 and I dont phase it. My buddy also has a 400 and if we race it stays dead even and he is only like 140. As far as the hills, going up hills dont bother it. Higher elevation you may want to upgrade your jet kit. Any other questions e-mail me at ileddog@yahoo.com. LATER |
