Hi Guys! I need your advice. In a few weeks, I'll buy an 2008 Harley-Davidson. I hesitate between an 1200R (I really like the look, especially with a solo seat, but I'm afraid that it will vibrate at highway speed 70-80 mph) and a Dyna FXD

Just bought one. A 2008 1200R Sportster. Very little vibration. No more than any other bike much less than some I have ridden, other brands. I love my 1200R sporty. I had a 2005 1200R that I put 31000 miles on. Very little vibration at any speed. I had it up to 110mph once before I chickened out. It wasn't done yet. Didn't notice any excessive vibration at 110. Is that fast enough for you, lol ? I have ridden my 2005 1200R on the interstates all day long at 70 to 85 mph and enjoyed the nice ride. Its also the fastest bike Harley makes other than the vrod. You won't have to spend a couple of thousand to modify the engine to get more power. Sportsters have plenty of power and torque in stock form. If you add the stage I kit, wow. Get one and save yourself a few thousand $$$$. Its a bargain for under 10 grand. I probably paid to much for mine. I gave $9700 for mine.
