I bought a 06 Hawkeye 2 wheel drive and a 06 450 sportman in April. The Hawkeye wouldn't pull it self from 4" of mud without starting to miss. The plug would be BLACK. It has been to the dealer twice for the same thing. The second time I demanded that they come and pick it up.They drilled two 3/8" holes on the top of the air box cover, and put some new slides in the carb, along with a new plug. (No paper work to prove that). Since the holes were put it , it runs better. But I don't like the idea of just 2 holes in the cover is a factory fix. Now there is a recall on this ____. It has been sitting for 1 1/2 mo. now. No parts. Dealer can't get them. Polaris don't have any to ship to the dealers to fix the one's out there. In the mean time the warrenty time keeps sliping away. Who knows if any other thing is going to go wrong.

I finely got a phone call from Polaris. (I feel so lucky) After complaining about the Hawkeye and all the down time while still under warranty, they are going to give me 3 months more of warranty. But still NO PARTS to fix this ATV. They also said the dealer should let me borrow a ATV to go on vacation. I haven't told the dealer yet. Will post more later Dale
