I currently have practically NO experience riding whatsoever, and I would really like some advice to help me decide what to buy. Ideally, I would like something more like a cruiser, or possibly a standard. I'm not really interested in the whole crotch rocket scene.. I've been thinking of an older 650cc V-star or a Virago or something similar. I'm going to be doing some freeway driving, so I need something safe enough and stable enough to handle it. And I'm 6'1" and about 220lbs. The lighter the better to help with the controllability and confidence, especially at lower speeds.
