| | I have a Honda ATV 350 fourtrax. Cant get it started. Wondering if it is the fuel pump. Can anyone help? Year 1987 |

| Hey, your not the only one, here is my problem, it may be the same thing! Hopefully we can both find out what the problem is and fix it.
I bought this thing new, its a 87 fourtrax 350 4x4. I never had a problem nor have I ever had to take it back to the dealer, not even once.
However lately it wont start easily. Sometimes I do not even hear the fuel pump (click click click click click) after I try and turn over the engine.
It will start when I take the plug out and put some gas into the cylinder (I only have to do this after it has been sitting for an extended period of time, about 4-5 days).
So this leads me to believe that its either a carb problem or the fuel pump problem.
Anyone have any ideas to as what I can do to fix/diagonse this myself?
