I have a 04 Polaris MSX 150. It only idles. Does anyone have a troubleshooting guide for the sensors or can anyone offer some advice?

I can't specifically answer your question, but I just ordered a service manual online. Just bought 2 msx 150's, and then found out it is extremely difficult to get them serviced, as polaris doesn't make personal watercraft anymore. They are fast as lightning, but I'm worried service is going to be a concern. I ordered the manual from parkeryamaha.com. Good Luck.

Have you tried resetting the sensors. If not here it is. In the engine compartment in the tail of the boat on the left is a brown connector about the width of pack of cigarettes. Start the boat and let run for a couple of minutes then disconnect the connector. This will shut down the boat. Let it sit for about 5 minutes. Reconnect and start boat. This resets all the sensors. This "trick" was given to me by a Polaris mechanic. Good luck.
