I have been a loyal BMW owner for a while but have always had a thing for Ducatis. Are the horror stories true about Ducatis' reliability? or is it a bunch of whiners who can't afford maintenance and get in over their head? BUT I have friends that have them, that they have had problems with them. But one of them works great with Ducati's so maintance doesnt kill them. When I bought the bike the dealer told me that the maitance would be high, but they where very reliable.
