I am sick and tired of being called a Harley wannabee. I have a Vulcan 1600 and the Harleys don't come close to the quality and value of Kawasaki.

I also run into that all the time. I just remind them of the obvious benefits of fuel injection, water cooled, shaft drive, overhead cams and so on. If they can't seem to understand, which they may not, they did buy an outdated and over priced oil leaking P.O.S., you just have to let them go. After paying more than twice the $ for an out dated bike, they have to have something to comment on.

It is sad that you call an American icon junk and I bet you have never even owned one. Brilliant Boy!!

I am on my 43rd bike in 40 years and all but 5 have been Japanese bikes. They were good bikes, but all had horrible resale value. Three years ago I started riding Harley's with a new 04 Superglide followed buy an 05 1200 Custom Sportster. We have put 20,000 miles on the Superglide in the first year and 17,000 on the Sportster with "0" problems of any kind. Junk I think not.

Ride your Kawasaki and enjoy it, but don't speak badly about Harley's if you haven't owned one. That is just plain "stupid".

I tell them my nomad don't want to be no harley. It like's being shaft driven & water cooled with hydraulic valves that is why I bought it . these are not an option with H D and they should be.
